This afternoon, 5th and 6th grade was able to use the new sink in the garden! Ms. Swarth built the wooden platform for the sink and a parent volunteer recently helped to install the sink. Today in math the class multiplied fractions when doubling a recipe for Ceasar Salad dressing. Later, the class made a huge salad and used the recipe from math to dress it during garden time. 

A gopher snake was found behind room 4 today. Ms. Swarth brought it into our classroom and the kids had a great time petting and discussing it.
