Math, practicing monologues, prop-making, and continuing art pieces

Both Ms. Miliazzo and I have been getting some hands-on math action in the last few weeks week in our math groups. We both love teaching geometry!

Benchmark tests were last week and makeups are next week. I am proud of all the progress the class has made since the beginning of the year.

This week, we’ve made big progress with practicing our monologues and making props. Also, a date for the Wax Musum has been finlalized. Our class invites you all to the Wax Musuem on Wednesday, March 25th. Each class at school has its own set 30 minutes to come watch the performance, but parents may come at anytime between 1p.m. and 3 p.m. that afternoon.

We are nearly finished with our Alice in Wonderland art. Last week, students picked which medium they wanted to use to add color to their one-poin perspective drawings. We took silly pictures and will be cutting them out and gluing them onto the perspective drawings once they are developed.

Just a reminder that all recorded science fair date needs to be completed in less than 3 weeks. March 20th is the due date for project data.
